In the fight against climate change, everyone plays an important role. Research has shown that students preparing to go on mobility look for other students’ experience as one of the main sources of information, so why not encourage students at your host institution to have a more sustainable mobility experience through your own example?
Actions you can take
Actions
- Check with your host institution whether they organise any initiatives related to mobility and environmental sustainability. If they do, offer to join those and share your experience of a more sustainable mobility experience with other students.
- If there are no initiatives being developed in your host academic community, suggest the organisation of the workshop “Mobility and sustainability: How sustainable will your Erasmus experience be?”, which includes detailed guidelines for moderators and the full presentation to be used.
- Collaborate with local organisations in your host city (for example, student organisations or associations related with environmental sustainability) and raise awareness about the tips and resources found in this portal.
