Awareness raising

Body

“We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than a drop in the ocean. But if the drop were not there, the ocean would be missing something.”
Take a step forward in giving back to the academic community after you come back from your Erasmus+ mobility. Standing up and using your voice to raise awareness on the topic of environmental sustainability, while highlighting the possibility and experience of doing so while on mobility, will make you into an actor of change in your own university and city.

Actions you can take

Actions
  1. Organise a workshop for students preparing to go on mobility, so that they are aware of concrete steps they can take to be more sustainable throughout the mobility lifecycle. You can implement the workshop “Mobility and sustainability: How sustainable will your Erasmus experience be?”, which includes detailed guidelines for moderators and the full presentation to be used. You can partner with your International Office, which will certainly be glad to have your help.
  2. Volunteer at student organisations such as the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), and use the Green Erasmus Guidelines for environmental activities during  mobility exchange to engage local and international students .
